Aum Aum Aum….

November 28, 2012

Yes, I surrender…let the higher power guide me…

I’ve sent out nothing but goodness from my heart…

As a friend of mine used to say, “Just let it unfold”…

Aum Aum Aum… 🙂

Oh…how I love my sweet puppy…he’s my first love…puppy love, really…

He’s been with me through thick and thin for 36 years…

What a good boy he’s been…

My daughter adores him…

We handle him gently…lovingly…

He’s one of the best gifts…well…considering the horrid tantrum I had…it’s amazing my dad bought him for me…you see, I HAD to have him…our eyes locked and that was it!  At an ice-cream place…thanks, dad…best money spent!

I take a bow

to you

Nora

for your brilliance…humor

you shine, star like…up there in the night sky

brightly

for us…

as sisters, we mourn

your passing….

your brilliance lives on…through your writing…forever…rest in peace…

A crack appeared a while back….I kept using this lovely white bowl my sis and I bought (2 of) at Crate & Barrel while we were in college…lovingly…

It’s apparent the other day…while I was washing it…that the bowl has seen better days…

Thank you….for serving steaming hot $1 for 3 boxes of mac & cheese from Walgreens, $1 for 3 vegetarian instant noodles from Chinatown…grape nuts, soy milk…chai, coffee…everything…

I cannot part with it quite yet….hubby suggested that we use it for something else…like coins!  Yay….we’ll see how long it’ll last….

So much love and appreciation…. 🙂

I’m grateful to be working at a school where our students appreciate us…it’s lovely when that appreciation comes in the form of flowers…actually, it would be great if I have a photo of each lovely smile to post in my office (unlike the flowers, they will not fade)…

Cherish every moment….

March 19, 2012

Learning to cherish every single moment of my life…with my loved ones, or not….

I’m back!  Knitting a little at a time…

Can’t seem to manage to finish the green Mara shawl for my little girl…it’s freezing here (all relative)…for us…of course, I’ve got 2 sweaters for my older sis….she’s waiting patiently…her bday long past…I wish I can knit like Hazel Tindall!!!
