Ramen in Paris?!

Who in the world would think of having ramen in Paris? Well…while walking through this neighbourhood we do not know…we stumbled across a small street filled with ramen places.

After a little more strolling and buying a much needed long sleeve undie for our girl, we went back and lined up at Naritake. After a long wait…we finally sat down…omitting the details…gyoza was pretty good (keep in mind we have not had and Asian food for 9 days…)…the soup base was SO salty we had to leave some behind…

Perhaps it’s us who are not used to the amount of salt used in Europe…but now I see why so many elderly folks in Italy (especially) suffers from high blood pressure…

We decided to brave it…I thought I was in pretty good shape ;-) well…apparently, I am NOT! Took a while for me to climb them 436 steps…the dome is really something else from up close. Totally worth it! Yes, the 8 Euros per person and all…

Fond memories…

I walked past this spot everyday when I lived in Florence…so much has changed since I lived here…the buildings are the only ones who know what really happened…

The lovely Bay Area…

The lovely Bay Area...

Every time we take a stroll in Crissy Fields…we are reminded how very lucky we are to live in this diverse city of ours…

On this sunny day…our stroll was filled with “which type of dog will we get, Mama/Babbo?”…we met all the friends with wagging tails…

One day, we told her, one day…when we have a house with a yard…oy vey…

Wire Fox Terriers…I’d like to say…

It’s been oh…over a month now, maybe even 6 weeks….

I’ve not had bread, crackers and red meat….ok, so if there’s traces of it in something…I cannot be responsible!

The result is that my IBS symptoms are under total control…yes…never in my life have I felt this way.  Yes, it is NOT easy….bread is yummy…I don’t mean the loaf bread stuff…I mean crusty white bread…like baguettes!

My sinuses are not bothering me as they used to…my little “dry cough” has miraculously gone!!  I’m not fatigued like I am used to…that right flank dull ache that my doctor and acupuncturist thought was muscle pain?  Minimized…I knew that in my heart it’s connected to my IBS…but have no prove…so here it is…sigh…

Well…started out with my sister reading something about de-acidfying diet…I was skeptical…but knew I needed to take some action on my diet…2 weeks later, my allergies and IBS under control…I’m not fatigued all the time…life is different!  My eczema too…under control…one little thing that was bonus?  My jeans were fitting nicely…yes, bye bye bloating…

Would I recommend it to everyone?  Not sure if it’ll work for everyone, but it’s definitely worth trying out…

Full moon…

Full moon...

This is one of the many reasons why we feel grateful living in the area we do…nature is only steps away…

This full moon is something…I’d be howling if I’m allowed :)

Oh, there you are!

Oh, there you are!

Yes…this is the colour my lovely girl picked…”Edison Bulb” by Madelinetosh (Sport weight)

She asked for a shawl…it’s slowly being knitted…my right hand is feeling a little better…so I am trying it out…a few stitches/rows here and there.

I suppose IF she manages not to loose it, we will be able to spot her anywhere! Hahahaaaa…
